Renewable Energy Engineer-in-Training

Stephanie was born and raised in Newfoundland and Labrador, she grew up in Mount Pearl and currently resides in St. John’s. She attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, where she completed her Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 2021. Stephanie’s work term experience was quite broad; starting in Oil and Gas, she moved on to tech and spent her fifth work term with Tesla at their Gigafactory in Nevada. Stephanie is extremely passionate about sustainable energy, heavily due to her three-year involvement with Paradigm Hyperloop throughout her undergrad and is proud to be pursuing her passions with Growler Energy. Her work with the company since she started in April 2021 has focused on renewable energy development projects (wind, solar, etc.) in the Arctic, as well as various research initiatives.

“My favorite part about my job is that I get to work on projects that align with my passions, and this passion is shared amongst everyone I work with. The work we do each day brings us closer to a more sustainable future, and it is very rewarding!”
